Polyvinylidene fluoride

PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a highly crystalline fluoropolymer combining excellent mechanical strength and toughness, stiffness, high dielectric strength, abrasion resistance, creep resistance, high purity, chemical resistance to solvents, acids, bases, low flammability (low smoke generation) and low moisture absorption. These properties make PVDF a versatile engineering material, especially suitable for the manufacture of pipe, fittings, valves, and pump parts and premium wires for the petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, textile, semiconductor, medical and defense industries, as well as in lithium ion batteries.
