High temperature thermoplastic compounds

High temperature thermoplastic compounds offer significant retention of physical properties, along with dimensional stability and excellent electrical characteristics, at increased temperatures. High temperature resins also offer better chemical resistance than most other polymers. High temperature plastic compounds improve performance at elevated temperatures >150°C / 300°F and ideal for E&E components in lead-free soldering processes.
In additional to improved heat deflection temperatures and flammability protection, high temperature compounds can provide exceptional chemical, wear, and abrasion resistance. Also, they can employ various identification technologies, such as industrial coloring or microtaggants.
