High density polyethylene

High density polyethylene (0,941-0,970 g/cm³). Elastic and hard material, low resistance to scratch. Compared with LDPE, it has a better mechanical strength and gas barrier properties. HDPE is used in blown molding processes, the production of extruded parts, film and molded parts.

5502 R3 HDPE with good compromise between stiffness and Environmental Stress Crack Resistance (ESCR). Conforms EU and US Pharmacopeia. Blow molding of medical and cosmetic packaging.
5802 Excellent rigidity and ESCR. Medium-sized bottles and houseware packaging.
Xsene BM593 Bimodal high density polyethylene. Very high ESCR. Food packaging, bags, industrial packaging, hygiene packaging. HDPE BM 593 is a grade to be used for thin films requiring high rigidity and high heat resistance. Good blendability with LDPE, LLDPE and mPE
HD 6081 Very good organoleptic properties and rigidity. This grade does not contain slip agent. Injection molding of caps and closures for non-carbonated drinks and cosmetics industry. Pails and crates and general-purpose injection-molded articles.
2008 SN 60 Very high rigidity and low viscosity. Pipes and cables. Blow molding of thin walled food packaging containers.
